Isabelle Ferrer and Sylvain Sudrie on the way to Barcelona Half Ironman

Isabelle Ferrer and
Sylvain Sudrie are ready for Ironman 70.3 Barcelona, coming next week. The 2
frenchies of the Recuperat-ion team will have to push hard, as the startlist is
very challenging. But we can hope some good results, because both athletes are
in a good shape.
The bike course, a
long loop leading the participants into the heart of Montseny mountain, is specially
tough. This should play in favour of Isabelle and Sylvain, always very good
uphill. Moreover, Isy will take advantage of her experience of last year
edition, when she finished 6th. On the contrary, even if he won 2
times this race (2010 and 2011), Sylvain still doesn’t know the hilly course
(modified in 2013) and will have to be prudent.
Very strong on Abu Dhabi International Triathlon in
March, where he took the third place, Sylvain is clearly one of the favourite.
For the women triumph, everybody will be looking at the Danish Camilla
Pedersen. The 2013 winner is back only 8 month after a terrible bike crash
which let her in coma. Impresive! For Isabelle, this season means a comeback
at her best level too, after receiving back surgery last winter.
The heat expected on the Barcelona coast next week-end
is a good news for our triathletes always racing with Hydrasport, on the bike
and running. Recuperat-ion reminds you to drink regularly during the effort
with little sips, so that you compensate minerals lost. Hydration is one of the key, dont forget!
Good luck everyone !
