Next weekend will be full of emotions. Recuperat-ionHydrasport triathletes will go all out from Corsica to Canary Islands,
Barcelona and Basque country, in some of the main races of the season.

Bilbao Triathlon / Saturday May 18:
The third edition of Bilbao Triathlon will count with the
participation of 3 Recuperat-ion Triathletes. First of all, Mikel Elgezabal defending
his title at home. He has been invincible during the last 2 editions. Then, MarcelZamora will be stronger than ever, even if it isn’t his favorite distance (half),
the runner from Barcelona is one of the great favorites for the victory.
On the other hand, Albert Moreno will have the opportunity
to keep learning and to sum up experience. The value of our under23 is increasing,
after his second place in the Extrem Man Salou behind the untouchable Frederik
Van Lierde. But the question is: will Albert be able to follow the best men on
the bike? If so, his great running level allows him to dream about the triumph.
Ironman Lanzarote / Saturday May 18 :
Maybe, it is the taughest Ironman (of the serie) in the
world. This fact, doesn’t worry Miquel Blanchart, ready for his second try on
the main distance: the legendary race of Lanzarote. To reach the victory will
be hard against the German Faris al Sultan or the English Stephan Bayliss. But his
competitive character and his great running let us full of hope.
Corsica Tri / Sunday May 19:
After his excellent fifth place in Abu d’Habi, SylvainSudrie wants to defend his France Champion title 2012, obtained last year in
the same circuit of Calvi. The very hard bike race suits Sylvain, who is already
thinking of Belfort, where the World Championship will be hold in 2 weeks. But on
the starting list, there are several candidates to the victory, as François
Chabaud, Etienne Diemunsch, Hervé Faure or Karl Shaw, for example.
Half Challenge Barcelona / Sunday May 19:
Isabelle Ferrer will be on the start line of this classical
race of the North of Barcelona coast. Sunday around 7.00, the triathlete from
Dijon will go all out in this Half Distance (1.9/90/21) race support the Europe
Championship ETU. After the complete change of the cycling loop for this
edition (from the flat profile of the seashore to a sheer profile within the
country), this race could suit “Issy”, offering a great possibility to get placed
for T2. After some troubles in her preparation, and a satisfactory performance
in Koh Samui Triathlon, she arrives to Barcelona in optimal form. It is
important to note, the expected duel between Javier Gomez Noya and Chris Mac
Recuperat-ion wishes good luck to his athletes, and reminds
that a good hydration begins long before the day of the competition,
contributing to an optimal rehydration during exercise.
